5:40 AM my alarm clock started singing to me something about love down by the river. Actually it was 5:35 AM I set my clock 5 mins early...regardless it was early. I put on my black nylons that make my legs look good, got a black skirt, white shirt with black cardigan (that I secretly want to borrow forever from my roommate). I slipped on my Mary Jane's and brushed my hair back into a pony. Went and looked in the mirror not too back for getting ready in the dark. It was a pleasant morning, dark but not cold, just a little crispy. We walked into the temple and was greeted by a very lively man. It was going to be a good day.
I love going to the temple. I love the feeling there. It's so wonderful that we are invited to the Lord's house. One of the members of the temple presidency was there speaking to us, and he reminded us that the Lord is here, we may not see Him but we can feel His spirit. It's always fun to go with your ward and have the young men perform the ordinances i.e. confirmations and baptisms. I even was baptized for some Hintze's today. My dear FHE brothers saw the list of names before hand and reserved that list for me. I thought that was very sweet of them.
We were home just before 8 am. All the roommates were up chatting and making breakfast, it was a wonderful way to start off a Saturday. To make the day even better I got some steals on clearance. Woo Hoo!!
I must admit I took a 2 hour nap today and it felt wonderful. Worked on some homework out side enjoying the nice weather. I'd say it was a enjoyable Saturday!
Keep coming Spring!!!
